Job summary

AMAX is seeking a Hardware Solutions Engineer to bridge customer requirements with engineering, shaping customized server and infrastructure solutions for AI, HPC, and enterprise workloads. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with HPC clusters or GPU-accelerated systems.
• Strong knowledge of server architecture, CPUs/GPUs, memory, storage, and networking.
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement HPC and AI/ML infrastructure solutions, including GPU clusters, storage, and networking.
• Lead end-to-end solution lifecycle from pre-sales through deployment in customer environments.
• Collaborate with sales to translate requirements into scalable AI/HPC designs.
• Drive OEM server configuration, firmware/BIOS tuning, and manufacturability considerations.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure validation, rack integration, burn-in, and production readiness.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and POCs focused on AI workloads and HPC simulations.
• Support cluster bring-up and optimization, including OS provisioning, workload managers, and GPU software stacks.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting across compute, GPU, storage, and networking subsystems.
• Develop technical documentation and interface with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Stay current with emerging AI infrastructure technologies.
