Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Software/Integration Engineer to lead end-to-end integration projects for strategic customers. You will collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to design, implement, and optimize complex integrations while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.

You will serve as the primary technical contact for the largest customer teams, articulate Stripe’s API and product architecture, and help translate business

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software or integration engineering.
• Proficient in Go, Java, C/C++ and debugging user code.
• Strong debugging across code and Stripe code.
• Solid SQL and data structures/algorithms knowledge.
• Understanding of payments domain and API security.
• Able to articulate Stripe architecture to customers.
• Experience with AI tools to improve work.
• User-first approach with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute integration engineering end-to-end, from architecture to code.
• Explain Stripe concepts and API architecture to users and manage expectations.
• Be primary technical contact for largest users and partners, resolving issues.
• Apply AI across the engagement lifecycle to reduce manual effort and improve quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture and Implementation for client engagement and revenue.
• Identify enhancements and new features from field feedback with Product/Engineering.
• Provide deep technical support, code reviews, and proof-of-concept integrations.
• Lead Hands On Keyboard implementations when needed and give feedback on coding practices.
