Job summary

The Ardonagh Analytics Lab in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, is seeking an innovative AI Engineer to design, build and operate production-grade AI systems. You will work at the intersection of software, data and applied AI to deliver agents, LLM-powered apps and intelligent data pipelines.

We expect 3+ years in AI/engineer roles, strong Python skills, and experience deploying AI solutions. You will integrate LLM platforms, design scalable architectures, and collaborate across cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in software engineering, data engineering or AI engineering roles.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML/LLM-powered applications into production environments.
• Strong Python development skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production-grade AI solutions that transform data into actionable insight.
• Develop AI agents and agentic workflows for data processing, analysis and reporting.
• Integrate and manage LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude) and design scalable AI architectures.
• Build RAG-driven knowledge systems and vector databases for grounded outputs.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Platform Engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
