Avanci is seeking an AI Business Analyst to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable AI initiatives. You will gather requirements, analyze data, evaluate AI tools, and support the rollout of AI solutions across the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
4+ years in business analysis or related roles
Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, analyzing data, managing intake/backlogs, and tracking metrics
Familiarity with generative AI tools and concepts (LLMs, prompt design, AI agents)
Technical fluency to collaborate with IT on enterprise applications, data sources, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows
Strong communication, organization, and project-management skills
Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, CRM systems, or BI platforms preferred
Python coding experience

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for AI tools and process improvements.
Translate business needs into use cases, workflows, data needs, and success measures.
Evaluate AI tools, prototype solutions, and collaborate with developers or vendors for integration.
Manage intake/backlog activities with clear documentation and status updates.
Define and track metrics such as accuracy, adoption, time saved, user satisfaction, and efficiency.
Support responsible AI by addressing privacy, security, access, and governance in partnership with IT and Legal.
Create process maps, requirements, test plans, and executive-ready summaries; communicate results clearly.
Define evaluation approaches with test scenarios, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
