Job summary

Lex Consultancy Recruitment partners with a leading international technology business in Dublin to hire an AI Business Analyst. This hands-on role bridges business needs with AI technology, identifying opportunities for AI and automation, translating requirements into practical solutions, and supporting implementation.

You will work with developers, define KPIs, create use cases, and monitor impact, with responsibilities spanning requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and governance

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in business analysis, automation or process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes and tracking KPIs.
• Practical understanding of generative AI, LLMs, prompt design and AI evaluation.
• Technical understanding of APIs, data sources, integrations and automation workflows.
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Python coding experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, SharePoint, CRM, Excel or BI platforms is beneficial.
• Annual bonus and Long-Term Incentive Plan and Pension are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise opportunities for AI, automation and process improvement.
• Gather requirements and translate them into clear use cases, workflows and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate, configure and prototype AI tools, agents and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams on APIs, integrations and enterprise applications.
• Manage requirements intake, documentation, priorities and delivery activities.
• Define and monitor KPIs including accuracy, adoption, efficiency, time saved and user satisfaction.
• Develop test plans and evaluate AI solutions for accuracy, groundedness, completeness and consistency.
• Support responsible AI practices covering privacy, security, access, human oversight and operational risk.
• Create process maps, requirements documentation, user guidance and management reports.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
