Job summary

Marsh is seeking an Associate Architect for the AI Center of Excellence to shape how AI capabilities are adopted across the global enterprise. You will work with senior colleagues to design integration patterns, test technologies, and influence architecture decisions from day one.

You will evaluate LLMs, memory systems, agent frameworks, and guardrails, pairing with engineers on PoCs and documenting architecture for both humans and AI agents. Hybrid work with regular office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, information systems, or related discipline.
• Genuine interest in system design and architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on comfort with AI coding platforms and copilots and the languages they support.
• Strong communication skills, in writing and in person.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI platform architecture across Marsh's technology landscape.
• Identify technologies for evaluation and recommend PoCs.
• Collaborate on proofs-of-concept, contributing architecture perspective.
• Build reference architectures and technology radar documents.
• Document architecture for humans and AI agents for multiple audiences.
• Present at Architecture Council, Dev Council, and business unit forums.
• Understand Marsh's enterprise landscape to inform recommendations.
