Job summary

Marsh is seeking an Architect to lead end‑to‑end AI platform architecture across the enterprise. You will evaluate emerging AI technologies, design integration patterns, and own reference architectures that guide scalable AI adoption.

You will work hands‑on with selected technologies, develop architecture recommendations, and present at Marsh’s Architecture Council and Dev Council to drive alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical design with a track record of design decisions beyond coding.
• Experience designing system architecture—integration patterns, component decomposition, technology selection.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Hands-on with AI coding platforms and copilots and the languages they support.
• Strong curiosity, high standards, and proactive learning of emerging tech.
• Strong communication skills to present technical recommendations to engineers and stakeholders.
• Ability to rapidly evaluate new tech and form clear architectural opinions.

Responsibilities

• Own areas of the AI platform architecture and define integration patterns with Marsh’s tech landscape.
• Drive evaluation of emerging AI technologies for PoCs and define success criteria.
• Collaborate on PoCs with engineers, focusing on architecture, deployment topology, and roadmap fit.
• Build and maintain reference architectures and technology radar documents for enterprise adoption.
• Document architecture for humans and AI agents to use in practice.
• Present at Marsh architecture forums and related council meetings.
• Navigate Marsh’s enterprise landscape to design scalable integration patterns.
• Coach peers in AI CoE to build collective architectural expertise.
