Job summary

Early Childhood Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Afterschool Educator for maternity cover. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the afterschool service and support a welcoming, engaging environment for children.

Fluent English is essential and a professional approach to all childcare aspects is expected. Start date is late January 2027, with 30–33 hours per week, and pay in line with national EROs or determined by experience.

Qualifications

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• A professional approach to childcare.
• A genuine enjoyment of working with children and enthusiasm for the role.
• A childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
