Job summary

Early Childhood Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic, full-time educator to join our team in Ireland. Hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with a day structured around preschool morning session, lunch, afterschool preparation, collections, and afterschool care.

The role focuses on assisting in the preschool class, supporting homework, meal prep, and planning activities for children; QQI Level 5 Early Years Education or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 Early Years Education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preschool class 9:00 to 12:15.
• Lunch 12:15-13:15.
• Preparation for Afterschool 13:15-13:25.
• School Collections (Walk to local school less than 5 min from creche) 13:25-13:35.
• Afterschool Care 13:35-18:00; assist with homework, help prepare food, plan and carry out activities with children.
