Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking a Programme Lead in Ireland to oversee Before/After School and Holiday Club operations at local schools. The role involves hands-on leadership, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring high-energy engagement with children.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year experience with school-aged children, a Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification (or equivalent), strong English skills, and reliable transport. Garda vetting and references are required prior to start.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Childcare qualification FetacLevel 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team.
• Own car required for programme lead.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 years).
