Cairde Early Learning Centre is hiring an After-School Club Assistant to join our childcare team in Claregalway. The role focuses on helping children with homework, delivering fun activities, and supporting a safe, caring environment after school.

This part-time, in-person position runs 2pm–6pm, with a pay rate of €15.00–€15.50 per hour. No formal qualifications are required, and the successful applicant will work closely with parents and our team to provide high-quality care.

• Ensure inspection compliance.

Cairde ELC are currently recruiting an After-School Club assistant to join our childcare service in Claregalway (5 Minute Drive From Oranmore Town/10 Minute Drive From Galway City). We are looking for motivated workers to join our team. This role involves the completion of homework with the children along with preparing and implementing activities for the children. The candidate must have a genuine love for children. No qualification is required.

The role of a After-School Club Assistant involves ensuring a high standard of care and guidance to all children in your care under the designed programme.

• - Creating fun, dynamic, interesting programme / routine / activities for the day
• - Ensuring that all children are happy, safe and enjoying their environment
• - Ensuring children receive healthy snack and dinners
• - Cleanliness and overall hygiene of the service
• - Record keeping – including classroom attendance
• - Overseeing curriculum planning, implementation and documentation
• - Inspection compliance
• - Communication with parents
• - General admin in relation to day to day notes to parents or phone calls etc.
• - Adhering to the policies and procedures set out by Cairde ELC

NO Qualification is required.

Part Time Position - 2pm-6pm
