Job summary

Renishaw PLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Additive Manufacturing systems in Ireland. Based along the M6/M4 corridor, you will install, commission and maintain AM equipment, train customer operators on site and remotely, and ensure high service standards.

The role involves frequent travel, including to the UK base in Miskin for training, and you will manage reports, timesheets and PPE compliance while supporting customers with precision and reliability.

Qualifications

• Field service background in service, maintenance, repair, or assembly/manufacturing of AM/CNC/robotic systems.
• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or machine automation.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission AM systems on customer sites.
• Provide training and remote support for machine operators.
• Carry out scheduled service and maintenance of the Renishaw AM line.
• Respond to on-site repairs, fault finding and calibration.
• Test performance, collect data and write reports.
• Manage customer relationships and timely service visits.
• Submit expenses and timesheets on time; follow PPE rules.
