Job summary

EAK Treetop Walks Ireland at Beyond the Trees Avondale in Wicklow invites applicants for a part-time role based at the treetop walk. You will engage visitors, assist in sales, and help maintain the walk and slide operations, in all weather, supporting a safe, enjoyable experience.

You will work as part of a friendly team, handle basic POS tasks, provide customer service, and help with cleaning and safety procedures. If you enjoy outdoor activities and delivering great service, apply to join us.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sales and point-of-sale tasks
• Assist in maintenance tasks around the site
• Instruct customers on safe use of the slide
• Act as a customer service representative for the Treetop Walk
• Support operation of activities including Ireland’s largest slide
• Help maintain set standards on the walk and tower complex
• Assist with cleaning tasks and site upkeep
• Adhere to safety procedures and sustainability initiatives

Our Mission:

We are the most innovative adventure team in Ireland and have created the newest and most exciting Irish tourism attraction. Located in Avondale, in the heart of beautiful Wicklow our treetop walk attracts over 250,000 visitors per year and continues to be one of the top tourist attractions in Ireland. We aim to provide customers with an amazing outdoor adventure and therefore want to develop a team of people who share our energy and enthusiasm for delivering superb experiences and want to grow alongside us.

We are now looking to replace team members who are commencing 3rd level studies, having completed their gap year with us, in our shop, maintneance and outdoor teams.

Who Are We Looking For:

• The ideal candidate will love working in the outdoors in all weather.
• Duties will include, but not be limited to, assisting in sales, assisting in mantenance tasks, instructing customers on safely using the slide, and acting as a customer service representative on the Treetop Walk.
• A key focus on customer service and customer interaction
• Support the operation of various activities including Ireland’s largest slide and other customer engagement activities
• Support and help maintain set standards on our Treetop walk and tower complex.
• Assist with all necessary cleaning aspects to the site
• Adhere to our standards and safety procedures
• Play a part in our Sustainability Program ensuring we continue to set a leading example in Ireland

What You Need:

• To be passionate about customer engagement and outdoor activity
• Proven experience in point of sale operations, and /or a customer service environment/tourist led service is a benefit
• Excellent communication skills, organized and ability to show initiative
• To be able to work well in a team and busy environment
• Good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to enable our customer experience
• Flexible and Adaptable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €13.00 per hour
