Job summary

Curam Care Homes on Navan Rd, Dublin 7 is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to join our care home team.

Experience in care of the older person is advantageous; training will be provided, including Sonas Programme.

The role requires good IT skills and familiarity with EpicCare; strong communication with residents and staff is essential; involvement in cooking, gardening, knitting, music and arts and crafts is encouraged.

Requirements

• Experience working in Care of the Older Person within a residential care home setting is advantageous.
• Relevant experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided:
• Sonas Programme Course completed is desirable but not essential as training will be provided;
• A good level of IT skills;
• Familiarity of EpicCare platform is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with colleagues and residents;
• Demonstrable skills in cooking, gardening, knitting, music, arts and crafts is desirable.
