Job summary

Abrivia Recruitment is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of an established financial services organisation based in South Dublin. The role focuses on accounts receivable, credit control and related duties, with exposure to month-end activities and reconciliations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years' experience in accounts or finance, strong Excel skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Hybrid working is offered after training, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in accounts, finance or similar role.
• Exposure to accounts receivable, credit control, invoicing or reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming payments and ensure customer accounts are accurately maintained.
• Review outstanding balances and follow up with customers to support timely collection of payments.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve account-related queries.
• Assist with invoicing, payment allocation and account reconciliations.
• Work closely with internal teams to address billing issues and outstanding payments.
• Support month-end activities, including debtor reporting and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Maintain customer account information and ensure financial data is kept up to date.
• Contribute to improvements in finance processes and systems.
