Job summary

Xeinadin Ireland is seeking an ambitious Accounting Technician to join our Ballsbridge office in Dublin 4. You will prepare working papers, financial statements, and assist with audits for a diverse client base.

The role requires at least 2 years in practice, a Level 7 qualification (ATI or equivalent), and strong Excel skills. 37.5-hour week, full-time, office-based with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
• Accounting Technician qualification (ATI) or diploma/certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working papers and financial statements.
• Prepare and complete audit-exempt financial statements.
• Assist with audits in accordance with auditing principles.
• Assist in the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
• Prepare and file Revenue Returns VAT, RCT, and PAYE.
• CRO filing and Company Secretarial Services.
• Provide day-to-day support to junior team members.
• Bookkeeping administration tasks and preparation of client accounts.
