Our client is a well-established and growing Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Dundalk, Co. Louth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with strong audit experience to join a supportive team within a firm that values its people and offers genuine career progression.

This role is ideal for an experienced Audit Senior looking to manage a portfolio of clients, contribute to team development, and gain exposure to a wide range of sectors in a firm known for its excellent reputation and collaborative culture.

The Role:
  • Manage and lead audits for a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and assist with regulatory filings.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly management accounts and reconciliations.
  • Review cash flow, oversee supplier payments, and conduct overhead analysis.
  • Liaise with clients to provide insights and recommendations on financial matters.
  • Support Finance Management on ad-hoc business and improvement projects.
Requirements:
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 1 year’s post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working in a practice environment is essential, particularly in audit.
  • Strong technical knowledge across audit, accounting, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
