GPC Finance are proud to partner with a well-established and growing Chartered Accountancy firm in Dundalk. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to become a key part of a dynamic and supportive team in a firm that truly values its people.

Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients while mentoring junior team members. This role provides real career progression, exposure to a diverse range of clients, and the chance to work with a firm that has a strong reputation and a fantastic company culture.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assisting with the timely completion of annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns, including quarterly and annual audits.
• Managing ad-hoc business projects as directed by Finance Management.
• Conducting monthly reviews of debtors and creditors.
• Overseeing cash flow management and supplier payments.
• Reviewing overheads to ensure efficient cost control.
• Handling other daily accounting requests from the General Manager.

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 1+ years PQE.
• Experience working in a Practice firm is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage a variety of client accounts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy and fast-paced finance environment.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
