We are a leading producer of high-quality juices and smoothies with production facilities in Ireland, supplying a mix of branded, private label, and co-packed products to customers in the UK, EU, and global markets. We are seeking an Account Manager to join the Commercial Team to support business growth, particularly within the Foodservice and Wholesale markets in Great Britain.
This role offers exposure to all key business functions, including Purchasing, Planning, Finance, Production, Quality, and Logistics, providing in-depth knowledge of products, processes, and operations.
The Account Manager will develop and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, anticipate their needs, and drive sales and profitability. You will work cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and growth while supporting the delivery of commercial objectives across assigned accounts. Some travel across the UK is required, along with routine meetings in Ireland.
Manage and grow relationships with Foodservice and Wholesale customers in Great Britain.
Develop trusting relationships with customers to retain and expand their business.
Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
Understand customer requirements and communicate internal solutions through monthly sales meetings.
Gather, report, and communicate customer feedback on service, products, and delivery.
Achieve defined sales targets and KPIs.
Attend trade shows and events to promote products and gain new customers.
Lead annual contract renewals and new client onboarding processes.
Conduct market research and participate in new product development initiatives.
Identify new business opportunities and generate innovative ideas to grow sales.
Work closely with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
Understand company pricing methods and contract structures.
Support market research to improve offerings and stay competitive.
Previous experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management in FMCG.
Willingness to travel across Great Britain and work independently.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Results-oriented with strong numerical and analytical ability.
Service-oriented, polite, friendly, and diplomatic.
Ability to generate ideas, prioritise tasks, and multitask effectively.
Full UK/Irish driving licence.
Experience in Foodservice and Wholesale channels in Great Britain.
Third-level qualification in Business or Marketing.
