• Notify superiors of damages, deficits and disturbances.
• Address complaints and requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stock levels of consumables and replace as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.

The Fern Dean Nursing Home in Stepaside are seeking an Accommodation Assistant to join our team. We are currently seeking full time applicants. The ideal candidate will be flexible and have the ability to work weekdays and weekends as required.

Accommodation Assistant job responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
