Job summary

The Heritage in Killenard, Laois, Ireland seeks an Accommodation Assistant to join our team. You will ensure guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are serviced to the highest standards and will deliver excellent customer service.

Training is provided, and you must be available for early/late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Role involves cleaning assigned rooms and public areas, managing towels and linens, and maintaining stock levels and safety procedures with PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality housekeeping preferred, training provided.
• Must be available for early/late shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
• Ensure rooms and public areas meet standards throughout the day.
• Attention to cleanliness and guest privacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all public areas receive the service required on an ongoing basis.
• Clean public areas / toilets and sign off bathroom checklist on an hourly basis.
• Vacuum rooms, corridors, stairs and restock supplies.
• Inspect carpets, fabrics, furnishings, and fittings daily to check they are clean and in good repair.
• Damp dust vacant rooms and restock towels/linens as needed.
• Maintain cleaning programme in operation.
• Service of tea/coffee making facilities within all guestrooms.
• Assist with linen and laundry tasks as required.
