Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd in Cork, Ireland is seeking a Business Operations Specialist for a 12-month contract in the Life Sciences sector. You will lead and standardise 6S practices across BCoE laboratory environments, coordinate programmes, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience in regulated labs or manufacturing, deep knowledge of 5S/6S, and strong change management and data-driven improvement skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated operational, laboratory, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of 5S/6S and workplace organisation principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, standardisation, and long-term sustainability of 6S across BCoE laboratory environments.
• Coordinate 6S programmes, including workplace assessments, audits, visual management standards, action tracking, and performance reporting.
• Deliver training, coaching, and facilitation to laboratory teams to embed 6S into daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with scientists, engineers, EHS, Facilities, and leadership teams to improve safety, workplace organisation, compliance, and operational efficiency.
