Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd in Ireland, Cork, is seeking a Business Operations Specialist for an initial 12‑month contract in a state‑of‑the‑art biopharma facility. You will lead 6S/5S practices across BCoE laboratory environments and partner with scientists, EHS, facilities and leadership to improve safety and operational efficiency.

The role demands proven experience in regulated labs, strong change management, coaching and stakeholder engagement, and the ability to analyze performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a regulated operational, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of 5S/6S methodologies and workplace organisation.
• Demonstrated change management, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, standardisation, and long-term sustainability of 6S practices across BCoE laboratory environments.
• Coordinate 6S programmes, including workplace assessments, audits, visual management standards, action tracking, and performance reporting.
• Deliver training, coaching, and facilitation to laboratory teams to embed 6S principles into daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with scientists, engineers, EHS, Facilities, and leadership teams to improve safety, workplace organisation, compliance, and operational efficiency.
