Job summary

Stryker is seeking a maintenance technician for a permanent role at our Tullagreen site, Ireland. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-controlled systems, and collaboration with facilities and manufacturing teams to prevent downtime and improve processes from day one.

You will develop expertise on next‑gen equipment, support new product introductions, and participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives,

Qualifications

• Certificate/ Diploma in Engineering/Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical l& toolmaking or related discipline is required.
• Experience in manufacturing (2 years + experience as a technician an advantage).
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electronics and software control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance activities and documentation is to GMP standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic and process systems on the production floor.
• Develop knowledge of next generation equipment and identify/eliminate technical issues.
• Interface with cross-functional teams and vendors to share learning and improvements.
• Diagnose malfunctions to identify hazards, defects, and repairs.
• Investigate build/furnace failures, determine root cause, implement corrective actions.
• Ensure equipment uptime metrics are collected and downtime actions are tracked.
