Senior Network Engineer
Job summary
A leading ICT solutions provider in Jakarta is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to install and maintain network equipment and security solutions. The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications such as CCNP and CISSP, and have experience with network troubleshooting and client communication. This role offers the chance to work with a growing multinational company in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Network Competency Certification (CCNP or equivalent) is required.
- Experience with network security solutions is necessary.
- Experience with Korean vendor equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install network equipment and security solutions.
- Work with customers to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Maintain network hardware and software at client sites.
Skills
- Install network equipment (wired and wireless) and security solutions.
- Install and configure network devices according to customer requirements.
- Work with Customers to resolve various issues from Technical perspective.
- Ability to communicate with customer to guide network troubleshooting is a must.
- Maintain network hardware and software operating at the customer's site.
- Update network Topology and prepare various maintenance reports.
- Provide Front-line support when issues arise.
- Perform network hardware installation (router, switch, firewall).
- Perform installation and configuration of network devices according to information system requirements.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve various issues from a technical perspective.
- Escalate technical issues to the technical team leader as appropriate.
- Guide and communicate with clients to resolve network issues.
- Perform maintenance of network hardware and software running in internal offices and on clients.
- Updating network topology and creating maintenance reports.
- Act as the first line (first level) when a problem occurs.
- Network Competency Certification (CCNP or equivalent)
- Security certification (CISSP or equivalent)
- Holding CCIE or equivalent will be an advantage
- Have a network competency certification (CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent)
- Experience installing and operating network equipment or security solutions from Korean Vendors
- Ability to provide Network and security consulting and proposals.
- Able to install network hardware
