Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Zumba Instructor role based in Ubud Bali, Indonesia. The Zumba Instructor will plan and lead group Zumba sessions, ensuring classes are safe, energetic, and appropriate for different fitness levels. Daily responsibilities include designing class routines, warming up and cooling down participants, demonstrating movements clearly, and providing motivational guidance throughout sessions. The instructor will monitor participant safety and progress, offer basic fitness advice, and adapt choreography to suit individual needs. Additional tasks include communicating with participants and staff, supporting studio events and promotions, maintaining a clean and organized studio space, and contributing to a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Fitness Instruction skills, including knowledge of basic exercise science and safe training practices.
• Candidates should possess Zumba-specific skills, such as Zumba Instruction experience, proficiency in Zumba choreography, and the ability to lead high-energy Zumba classes.
• Candidates should possess Teaching skills, including clear communication, group management, and the ability to motivate and guide participants of varying ages and abilities.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, including friendliness, professionalism, and the ability to respond to participant feedback and needs.
• Relevant certifications in Zumba and group fitness instruction, current CPR/first aid certification, and prior experience as a group fitness or dance instructor are beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, able to speak english and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, will be advantageous.
