Job summary

BYD Company Limited is seeking a Production Operations Lead in Indonesia. You will oversee production activities and safety, manage and develop the workshop team, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and processes.

You will plan resources, coordinate with technical departments, and prepare management reports while enforcing information security policies. The role requires a Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, or Electronic Information Engineering, plus 3–5

Qualifications

• English fluency advanced; Chinese spoken preferred
• 3-5 years of experience
• Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering or Electronic Information Engineering

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations and safety management to meet production requirements, quality and safety standards
• Lead and manage the team; recruit, develop, evaluate and motivate members to enhance capability and engagement
• Establish and continuously improve workshop management systems, targets, and processes
• Plan, evaluate, and manage resources to maximize workshop utilization and control costs
• Coordinate with technical departments to drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, quality, processes, and safety
• Develop training plans, recruit and nurture talent within the workshop
• Prepare production reports and provide data support for management decision-making
• Implement the company’s information security policies and monitor violations
• Perform other duties assigned by management

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee production operations and safety management in accordance with production requirements, ensuring timely delivery with required quality and safety standards.

2. Lead and manage the team to achieve assigned targets and tasks, including recruiting, developing, evaluating, and motivating team members to enhance overall capability and engagement.

3. Establish and continuously improve workshop management systems, quality targets, and operational processes.

4. Plan, evaluate, and manage resources effectively to maximize workshop utilization and control operational costs.

5. Coordinate with technical departments to drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, product quality, processes, and workplace safety.

6. Develop training plans, recruit and nurture talent, and strengthen the talent pipeline within the workshop.

7. Prepare production reports and provide data support for management decision-making.

8. Implement the company’s information security policies and requirements, and monitor and report any violations.

9. Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. English is advanced, chinese is able to speak is preferred;
