Job summary

Step Forward Lombok is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to join our hospitality team in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This full-time, on-site role focuses on enhancing the guest wellness experience and coordinating treatments and activities.

You will work closely with front-of-house and wellness colleagues to greet guests, provide information, arrange bookings, and maintain high standards of service and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services
• Knowledge of wellness practices is advantageous
• Fluent English
• Ability to manage multiple bookings and guest requests

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism, understanding their wellness needs and preferences
• Provide information and recommendations on wellness facilities, treatments and activities offered at the property
• Coordinate wellness appointments and bookings, ensuring smooth scheduling and guest satisfaction
• Assist guests with wellness inquiries and provide support in a courteous and attentive manner
• Maintain detailed records of guest wellness preferences and feedback for future visits
• Liaise between guests and wellness practitioners or therapists to ensure service excellence
• Support the delivery of wellness activities and programmes, including group sessions where applicable
• Maintain a clean, welcoming and organised wellness area or reception space
• Handle guest concerns or complaints related to wellness services with professionalism and discretion
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues across hospitality operations

About the role

Step Forward Lombok is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to join our hospitality team in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a full-time position based on-site at our location. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the wellness experience of our guests, creating a supportive and rejuvenating environment that complements our hospitality services. You will work closely with our front-of-house and wellness teams to ensure every guest receives exceptional, personalised wellness support during their stay with us.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in hospitality, guest services or a related customer-facing role within the tourism or wellness industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of wellness practices, spa services, therapies or health and wellbeing concepts is advantageous
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and guest requests simultaneously
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are highly valued in a tourism setting
• A genuine passion for guest service and creating memorable wellness experiences
• Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-focused in busy environments
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service and hygiene
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
• A warm, empathetic approach to supporting guest wellbeing and satisfaction
