Job summary

PetroSea seeks a skilled Welder Supervisor for our mining site in Central Kalimantan. You will lead welding activities, ensure technical quality, and coordinate with maintenance teams to improve equipment availability.

You will plan tools, spare parts, and manpower, review work orders, and report on progress. Strong knowledge of welding procedures, fatigue, and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma in mechanical field or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Welder in mining with leadership exposure.
• Certification in welding or trades is preferred.
• Ability to operate welding machines and related equipment.
• Understanding of fabrication practices and welding procedures.
• Fluent English is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate welding activities to ensure technical correctness and efficiency.
• Plan and supervise welder tools, spare parts, consumables, and manpower for site maintenance and repair.
• Prepare and submit timely reports on work orders and backlog; ensure proper details.”
• Review and analyze failures, monitor trends, and flag unsafe equipment or high-risk failures.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs and ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards.
