Job summary

Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia seeks a General Manager – Repair and Maintenance for East Kalimantan mining operations. You will lead and coordinate maintenance of all mining and construction equipment, ensure spare parts availability, and drive cost‑effective, safe, reliable plant performance to sustain project schedules.

Reporting to the Operational Director, you will develop maintenance programs, manage parts inventories, supervise engineers and technicians, and deliver regular metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10–12 years' coal mining project experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and motivation skills; strategic maintenance focus.
• Knowledge of spare parts management for heavy machinery and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor procured parts and materials; coordinate with Logistics; budget repair costs and track as per schedules.
• Prioritize planned, preventive, predictive, and project maintenance; ensure tool readiness.
• Develop and manage plant equipment maintenance programs with planning and control.
• Inspect units to identify problems and plan preventive steps; organize repair activities and reporting.
• Maintain storage and records of goods; prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports; ensure quality control.
