Job summary

PT Gistex in Bandung is seeking a Weaving Supervisor to lead the weaving operations from winding to loom­ing. The role requires hands-on loom expertise, strong leadership, and a focus on quality and safety on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate holds a D3/S1 in Textile or related field, with 5+ years in weaving and 1–2 years in supervision, plus a proven ability to improve loom efficiency and reduce fabric defects.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: D3/S1 in Textile, Industrial, Mechanical Eng or related.
• 5+ years textile industry experience, specifically weaving operations.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience as weaving supervisor/leader/foreman.
• Strong understanding of weaving production from winding to looming SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weaving production from winding to looming; ensure SOPs & K3/HSE compliance.
• Monitor loom efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize fabric defects (B/C grade).
• Lead and manage shop-floor manpower with shift-based schedules.
• Troubleshoot real-time weaving issues and coordinate maintenance.
