Job summary

Nityo Infotech Indonesia is seeking an experienced Senior VMware Engineer to manage enterprise virtualization infrastructure in a 24x7 datacenter, ensuring high availability and licensing compliance while delivering L2/L3 support.

You will diagnose incidents, coordinate with vendors, and work with cross-functional teams to maintain uptime, performance, and scalable VMware platforms including vSphere, vCenter, NSX, and Tanzu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in VMware Engineer/Virtualization Specialist.
• Strong knowledge with vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vRealize, and VMware Tanzu.
• Proven track record in Level 2/3 support and advanced troubleshooting in datacenter environments.
• VMware Certification (e.g., VCP-DCV / VCAP) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 technical support, maintenance, and complex incident resolution across the VMware ecosystem.
• Manage VMware licensing compliance and coordinate with vendor support for ticketing and escalation.
• Handle local 24x7 datacenter operations and log third-party tickets for hardware/storage issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to maintain uptime.

In this role, you will diagnose and resolve complex incidents, log and track vendor/third-party support tickets, and ensure seamless infrastructure availability alongside cross-functional technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 technical support, maintenance, and complex incident resolution across the VMware ecosystem.
• Manage VMware licensing compliance and coordinate directly with vendor support for ticket logging and escalation.
• Handle local 24x7 datacenter operations, logging third-party tickets on request for hardware, storage, and network vendor issues.
• Interact and coordinate effectively with internal technical teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to maintain optimal uptime
