Job summary

Roman, a well-established ceramic tiles brand in Indonesia from Lyman Group, is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to plan trade show displays and oversee field installations in West Jakarta. The role requires collaboration with marketing, VM, and design teams to ensure on-brand, high-quality visuals.

Responsibilities include gallery layout design, vendor monitoring, and on-site supervision of display installations at showrooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Visual Communication Design, Architecture or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in Visual Merchandising or retail display design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Willing to be placed in West Jakarta; field visits to showrooms may be required.

Job description

Plan daily work schedules for Merchandisers and check delivered sample statuses to ensure smooth field operations.

Design display structures, handle procurement documentation with Marketing Admin, and conduct vendor visits to monitor production progress until final setups

Coordinate with VM Supervisors and Sales to direct the installation of regular sample displays (tile pieces and racks) according to standard visual display guidelines until final setups

Collaborate with Graphic Designers to direct the design and implementation of poster and other branding units

Design gallery layouts, secure design approvals, oversee vendor progress, and supervise Merchandisers on-site during installation and renovation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Interior Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Architecture, or a related field

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, interior display, or retail display design (experience in the ceramic, tile, or building material industry is a plus)

Proficient in 2D/3D design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, or Illustrator, for creating gallery layouts, display racks, and promotional elements

Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills

Experience in vendor management, monitoring production progress, and supervising on-site installations/renovations to ensure timely completion

Willingness to perform field visits to showrooms and retail locations

Strong attention to detail, excellent aesthetic judgment, and solid problem-solving abilities

Willing to be placed in West Jakarta
