Job summary

PT. Daewoong Pharmaceutical Indonesia in West Java seeks a dedicated Veterinarian to lead animal health care for primates used in research, ensuring high welfare standards and adherence to protocols. The role requires a DVM and over 3 years of primate surgical experience with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Proven experience in surgery, drug administration, and blood collection in primates (Experience: over 3 years).
• Proficiency in English (intermediate or higher).

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care and support for primates involved in research.
• Perform surgical procedures, drug administration, and blood collection.
• Monitor and manage animal health in accordance with research protocols.
• Prepare, submit, and respond to IACUC applications, including protocol amendments and continuing reviews.
• Contribute to the preparation, review, and finalization of study protocols and final study reports.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare and ethical standards.

Education

DVM or equivalent degree in Veterinary Medicine

3+ years experience in primate surgery/ blood collection
