Job summary

ARK Animal Wellness in Summarecon Bogor, West Java, seeks an Experienced Veterinarian for a full-time position. You will deliver comprehensive animal health care, diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases while upholding high welfare standards.

You will lead clinical operations and contribute to advancing veterinary excellence in the region. The ideal candidate has a recognised veterinary degree, at least 5 years post-qualification experience, Indonesian licence to practise, and strong English

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised veterinary degree or diploma from an accredited veterinary institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in veterinary practice.
• Current professional registration and licence to practise as a veterinarian in Indonesia.
• Proficiency in conducting general veterinary examinations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures.
• Strong knowledge of animal pharmacology, pathology and disease management.
• Excellent communication skills with pet owners and team members.
• Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and ethical veterinary practice.
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical examinations and diagnostic assessments of animals using appropriate tools.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for diverse animal patients.
• Perform surgical procedures and monitor postoperative care with precision.
• Prescribe and administer medications, vaccines, and therapies per best practices.

• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to clinical protocols and SOPs to enhance service quality.
• Provide mentorship to junior veterinary staff.

About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Veterinarian to join ARK Animal Wellness in Summarecon Bogor, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive veterinary care and advancing our mission to provide exceptional animal health services to our community. As an Experienced Veterinarian, you will be at the forefront of our clinical operations, bringing your expertise to diagnose, treat, and prevent animal diseases whilst ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare. This role is pivotal in establishing ARK Animal Wellness as a trusted leader in veterinary excellence within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough clinical examinations and diagnostic assessments of animals, utilising appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse range of animal patients
• Performing surgical procedures and monitoring post-operative care with precision and compassion
• Prescribing and administering medications, vaccines, and therapeutic treatments in accordance with veterinary best practices
• Advising pet owners and animal handlers on preventative care, nutrition, behaviour management and animal welfare
• Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with veterinary support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care
• Staying current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and animal health through continuing professional development
• Contributing to the development of clinical protocols and standard operating procedures to enhance service quality
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior veterinary staff members

What we’re looking for

• A recognised veterinary degree or diploma from an accredited veterinary institution
• A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in veterinary practice
• Current professional registration and licence to practise as a veterinarian in Indonesia
• Proficiency in conducting general veterinary examinations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of animal pharmacology, pathology and disease management
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and internal team members
• Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and ethical veterinary practice
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Proficiency in English language communication
• Experience with veterinary management software and medical record systems (preferred)
• Specialist qualifications or certifications in areas such as surgery, internal medicine or exotic animal care (preferred)
