Job summary

Poulpharm in Indonesia is seeking a Veterinarian to join our lab team in Bogor. You will provide veterinary and technical support for poultry health, diagnostics, and animal trials, contributing to CRO projects and study activities.

You will coordinate with lab colleagues, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports while ensuring biosafety and animal welfare standards. English communication is required, and travel to farms may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) required.
• Experience in poultry health or veterinary diagnostics preferred.
• Willing to work at the Bogor laboratory and travel to farms or trial sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinary diagnostic activities, including sample collection and clinical examinations.
• Assist with planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of CRO projects and animal trials.
• Monitor poultry health and assist in disease investigation, vaccination, and biosafety activities.
• Coordinate with laboratory colleagues on diagnostic testing and follow-up of results.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate veterinary, laboratory, and trial data.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Collaborate with laboratory and technical teams to ensure animal welfare and compliance with procedures.
• Visit farms or trial sites to support project activities.

Job description

As a Veterinarian, you will provide veterinary and technical support for poultry health, farm activities, diagnostics, and animal trials.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Support veterinary diagnostic activities, including sample collection, clinical examinations, and necropsy when required.
• Assist with the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of CRO projects and animal trials.
• Monitor poultry health and support disease investigation, vaccination, and biosecurity activities.
• Coordinate with laboratory colleagues on diagnostic testing and follow-up of results.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate veterinary, laboratory, and trial data.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Collaborate with laboratory and technical teams to ensure animal welfare, biosafety, biosecurity, and compliance with relevant procedures.
• Visit farms or trial sites when required to support project activities.

Profile

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent).
• Experience in poultry health, veterinary diagnostics, laboratory work, animal trials, or research projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of poultry diseases, sample collection, necropsy, or experimental animal studies is an advantage.
• You are practical, proactive, detail-oriented, and have good problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to work at our laboratory in Bogor and travel to farms or trial sites when required.
• You meet the applicable Indonesian veterinary registration and licensing requirements for the role.
