Job summary

PT SOECHI LINES Tbk is seeking a purchasing professional based in Jakarta. The role involves processing purchase requests, coordinating with the superintendent, and ensuring timely payments and delivery readiness.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or bachelor degree in related fields, at least 1 year of purchasing experience, and good communication and negotiation skills, plus proficiency in MS Excel and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the purchasing field is required for this position.
• Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Possess good communication and negotiation skills
• Able to operate computer (proficient in Ms. Excel)
• Willing to travel
• Must have SIM A & C driving license

Responsibilities

• Submit data to assigned purchasing coordinator for approval
• Ensure all payment are made on time
• Receiving and checking requests from vessels to ensure that the items requested are as needed (coordination with the superintendent)
• Ensure all items are ready to deliver and reach the destination safely an right on time
