Job summary

PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk is seeking a Vessel Support Engineer (VSE) to assist the Operations team in managing vessel operations and ensuring technical and operational processes are implemented effectively.

You will support the Operations Manager, monitor PMS compliance, manage requisitions, and coordinate with vessels for reports and test results. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
• 2–3 years experience in vessel operations, technical support, or marine engineering.
• Familiar with vessel maintenance, PMS systems, and marine operational processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills and able to work with vessel crew and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day vessel operational and technical matters.
• Manage and monitor vessel purchase requisitions and services to ensure timely delivery onboard.
• Assist in vessel docking preparation, repair list review, and budget coordination.
• Monitor vessel PMS compliance and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Review vessel reports, maintenance records, and operational documentation.
• Ensure measuring devices and equipment calibration onboard vessels.
• Monitor engine running hours, spare parts consumption, and inventory usage.
• Coordinate with vessels for technical reports, test results, and operational data submission.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and supporting documentation for management.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and external parties to support vessel operations.
