We are looking for a Valuation Team Member to join our team and support the valuation of insurance liabilities, technical reserves, and related actuarial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies, policies, and processes related to insurance liability valuation.
- Perform and supervise the calculation of actuarial liabilities across business portfolios.
- Review and analyze valuation results to ensure the accuracy and completeness of insurance liabilities and technical reserves.
- Support the preparation and review of IFRS 17 / PSAK 117 reports and requirements for regulators and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and validate valuation data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Support internal and external audit processes related to technical reserve calculations.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure effective implementation of valuation processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- Experience or knowledge in actuarial modeling and/or programming is preferred.
- Good understanding of insurance business processes and technical reserve/valuation concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
