Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Actuary Analyst to support product pricing and development activities. This role will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design competitive insurance products, conduct pricing analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Market Management and Product Development teams to finalize product design and specifications in line with client needs and market demand.
- Perform pricing analysis and profit testing for new insurance products.
- Prepare, manage, and present pricing reports to internal stakeholders, regional offices, and regulators to facilitate product review and approval.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Market Management, Distribution teams, and external business partners.
- Participate in cross‑functional discussions on product design, profit testing, and implementation.
- Prepare policy contracts and actuarial documentation to support internal processes and statutory filings.
- Support the development and maintenance of sales illustration systems.
- Analyze product performance and proactively identify and anticipate potential product risks.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate or candidate with up to 4 years of relevant experience in actuarial or insurance functions.
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and pricing principles.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess and anticipate product risks.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic people management or leadership potential is an advantage.
- Progress toward professional actuarial qualification (e.g., SOA, IFoA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and their application in insurance pricing or risk assessment.
