Job summary

Aleph-Labs is seeking a content writer to craft user-friendly text for devices, apps, and products, helping users navigate and complete actions. You will set the tone for content and drive cohesive product narratives across platforms and touchpoints.

You will work with UX researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and operations to establish a unified voice for users and contribute to the overall user experience.

Qualifications

• Have UX writing, content design and content strategy experience on digital products or digital platforms.
• Possess a good portfolio that demonstrates creativity and craft in writing for digital products or media.
• Have strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to design and user experience.
• Be a team player and have experience working closely with a UX team of Interaction/UX designers, Visual designers and UX researchers to deliver the best user experience.
• Experience working in a cross-functional and agile development team would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work with designers, managers to find written and visual design solutions for digital services
• Write from the user's perspective, in plain English
• Make complex language and processes easy to understand
• Produce a consistent tone of voice guidelines for a product
• Design content to meet user needs
• Design appropriate usability tests for content
• Communicate content ideas or usability research to managers, designers and stakeholders (e.g. deliver presentations, facilitate workshops or give talks)
• Manage and ensure the effectiveness content guidelines
• Collaborate across the entire project team to improve copywriting and communication
