Job summary

Michelin Indonesia is hiring a Utility Supervisor - Electrical Distribution to lead power distribution operations on site in Bekasi/Cikarang area. You will ensure reliable and safe operation of site electrical systems, oversee maintenance, and drive energy efficiency initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in electrical power distribution with 2–3 years in supervision, HV/MV experience, and proficiency in ETAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems in industrial environments.
• HV/MV switching operations, protection systems, isolation, and safety procedures.
• Strong knowledge of HV and distribution systems including MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, 400 V).
• Experience in maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and documentation.
• Familiarity with MS Office and ETAP.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Business English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.

In the Maintenance / Utilities Department, we aim to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient power distribution systems across the site, while supporting operational excellence and sustainability through optimized energy management.

• Ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of site electrical systems and power supply.

• Maintain and optimize electrical equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.

• Hands-on experience in High Voltage electrical systems, including HV/MV switching operations, protection systems, electrical isolation, and safety procedures.

• Strong knowledge of High Voltage and electrical distribution systems and equipment, including MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and power transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, and 400 V).

• Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and electrical system reliability improvement.

• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP).

• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and applicable regulations for High Voltage and industrial electrical systems.

• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset aligned with Michelin’s value of Respect for Facts.

• Willingness to be based in Cikarang, West Java.

Preferred:

• Ahli K3 Listrik certification

• Experience in energy management, power quality analysis, and system optimization

• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in industrial environments

• Experience supporting continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen, or similar initiatives)
