Job summary

Michelin Group in Indonesia (Cikarang, West Java) is seeking a Utility Supervisor – Electrical Distribution to oversee reliable power distribution, lead maintenance activities, and drive energy efficiency across the site. The role requires HV experience, strong Electrical safety knowledge, and management of projects and documentation.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in electrical distribution with 2–3 years in a supervisory role, plus fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
• Experience with High Voltage systems, HV/MV switching operations, protection, isolation, and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of HV/LV switchgear, MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, 400 V).
• Experience in troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ETAP.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations for HV and industrial systems.
• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with data-driven mindset.
• Willingness to be based in Cikarang, West Java.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.

• Hands-on experience in High Voltage electrical systems, including HV/MV switching operations, protection systems, electrical isolation, and safety procedures.

• Strong knowledge of High Voltage and electrical distribution systems and equipment, including MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and power transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, and 400 V).

• Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and electrical system reliability improvement.

• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP).

• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and applicable regulations for High Voltage and industrial electrical systems.

• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset aligned with Michelin’s value of Respect for Facts.

• Willingness to be based in Cikarang, West Java.

Preferred:

• Ahli K3 Listrik certification

• Experience in energy management, power quality analysis, and system optimization

• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in industrial environments

• Experience supporting continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen, or similar initiatives)
