Job summary

Michelin Indonesia is seeking a Power Distribution Engineer to ensure reliable, safe power systems and efficient electrical infrastructure at our site. You will oversee maintenance, monitor energy performance, and support site projects with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, 3-5 years in industrial utilities, hands-on electrical experience, and strong English/Bahasa Indonesia communication. Knowledge of ETAP and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP).
• Knowledge of MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and power transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, 400 V).
• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Required:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP)
• Knowledge of electrical equipment: MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and power transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, 400 V)
• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset aligned with Michelin's value of Respect for Facts

Preferred:

• Ahli K3 Listrik certification
• Experience in energy management, power quality analysis, and system optimization
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in industrial environments
• Experience supporting continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen, or similar initiatives)
