Job summary

Michelin Indonesia is seeking a Utility Supervisor - Electrical Distribution to ensure reliable, safe operation of site electrical systems and power supply. You will lead maintenance, optimize equipment, and monitor energy performance for continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in electrical utility contexts with 2–3 years in supervision, HV knowledge, and English/Bahasa Indonesia proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience in High Voltage electrical systems, including HV/MV switching operations, protection systems, electrical isolation, and safety procedures.
• Strong knowledge of High Voltage and electrical distribution systems and equipment, including MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and power transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, and 400 V).
• Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and electrical system reliability improvement.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP).
• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and applicable regulations for High Voltage and industrial electrical systems.
• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset aligned with Michelin’s value of Respect for Facts.
• Willingness to be based in Cikarang, West Java.
