Job summary

Golden Agri Resources is seeking a Power Plant Operations Manager based in Jakarta to oversee power plant operations and coordinate WWTP and Utility activities, ensuring productivity, efficiency, safety and environmental compliance.

Based in Indonesia, the role leads budget supervision, personnel development, and cross‑functional coordination with utility and maintenance teams to sustain reliable energy supply.

Responsibilities

• Determine organizational structure and manpower for power plant; review SOP and ISO documents; set quality policy.
• Coordinate with users on steam and electricity needs.
• Identify materials and spare parts; coordinate with logistics and maintenance.
• Create operational power plant reports; prepare work and schedules.
• Oversee budgets; review, follow up and produce monthly and yearly reports.
• Evaluate work performance of supervised staff.
• Develop training plans for Power Plant personnel.
• Coordinate with Utility Manager on abnormal conditions; oversee WWTP and Utility operations.

Job description

Purpose: Responsible for power plant operations and coordinate WWTP & Utility operations in support of productivity with respect to efficiency, environmental aspects and safety.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• 1. Determine the organizational structure and manpower arrangement power plant, review SOP document and ISO document power plant, and determine the quality policy of power plant operation.
• 2. Coordinate with the user about steam and electricity needs.
• 3. Determine the materials and spare parts needed for smooth operation of the power plant by coordinating by the logistics and maintenance.
• 4. Creating operational power plant reports, among others, preparing work and schedule.
• 5. Responsible for the use and supervision of existing budgets in the power plant, review, follow up and create a pending job report in the power plant (monthly & yearly).
• 6. Evaluate work performance for employees who work under their responsibility.
• 7. Creating people development / training plans for Power Plant personnel.
• 8. Coordinate with Utility Manager regarding abnormal operational conditions and implement the instructions given by Utility Manager, and coordinate WWTP and Utility Existing and PGS operations.
