Job summary

Sandvik Indonesia is seeking an experienced Underground Technical Support Manager (TSM) Drills to lead the Product Support and Technical Advisor team. You will oversee post-sales support for jumbo, solo, and cabolter fleets, guiding maintenance and repairs while ensuring contract KPIs are met.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and excellent communication to manage customer relationships and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Product Support and Technical Advisor team to provide service support for mining equipment.
• Ensure KPIs are achieved and resources are used efficiently.
• Guide staff through preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Manage projects within service contracts and liaise between Sales and Product lines.
• Ensure adherence to EH&S guidelines, Indonesian standards and site rules.
• Grow customer relationships and provide input on service challenges.

Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Underground Technical Support Manager (TSM) Drills to join our team.

Position Overview

This high-profile role to help lead and develop the Product Support and Technical Advisor team. The team provide Service support to maintain the Customer fleet of Underground Mining equipment (Jumbo’s, Solo’s and Cabolter’s) in a fit for purpose state. Ensuring optimum use of available resources to execute safe and efficient maintenance activities whilst ensuring contract KPI’s are achieved by guiding technical staff through both preventative maintenance tasks and breakdown repairs. Manage and maintain projects within the scope of the service contract and provide a link between the Sales organization and the Product line. The candidate will need to work with the Customer in accordance with Sandvik Mining Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and Regulations, Indonesian Standards and Regulations, and Site-specific rules and regulations.

• Manage a support team to provide first class post-sales support

• Research questions using available information & internal resources.

• Ensure working practices are well defined and operational with minimal disruption using technology to improve efficiency as appropriate.

• Manage the team and individual performance, technical and skills development

• Encourage open communication between team members, suggesting and driving forward ideas about how the team can work more effectively together.

• Remain aware of new product developments in the area of network technology providing input and tactical direction to the business on customer service and support challenges.

• Manage and maintain internal and external aftermarket projects within the scope of the service contract.

• Service and Safety Bulletin management.

• Compile and review of safe work procedures.

• Support service contract Project Manager & General Manager where needed.
