Job summary

Sandvik Indonesia, based near Freeport in the Papua province, seeks a senior leader to head the Product Support and Technical Advisor team, driving safe, efficient maintenance and KPI achievement. You will coordinate service contracts, guide technical staff through maintenance and repairs, and serve as the link between Sales and Product lines while upholding Sandvik’s EH&S standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service contract projects and coordinate between Sales and Product lines.
• Ensure compliance with Sandvik Mining Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and Indonesian standards.
• Develop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Grow customer relationships and communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues.

Position Overview

This high-profile role to help lead and develop the Product Support and Technical Advisor team. The team provide Service support to maintain the Customer fleet of Underground Mining equipment (Jumbo's, Solo's and Cabolter's) in a fit for purpose state. Ensuring optimum use of available resources to execute safe and efficient maintenance activities whilst ensuring contract KPIs are achieved by guiding technical staff through both preventative maintenance tasks and breakdown repairs. Manage and maintain projects within the scope of the service contract and provide a link between the Sales organization and the Product line. The candidate will need to work with the Customer in accordance with Sandvik Mining Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and Regulations, Indonesian Standards and Regulations, and Site-specific rules and regulations.

• Remain aware of new product developments in the area of network technology providing input and tactical direction to the business on customer service and support challenges.
• Manage and maintain internal and external aftermarket projects within the scope of the service contract.
