Sandvik Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Technical Advisor for our Papua operation. You will support a fleet of Sandvik underground drills and bolters, ensuring reliability, safety and high availability of the fleet while mentoring local technicians.
The role requires seven or more years in underground mining with Sandvik equipment, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to build lasting customer relationships in a global engineering environment.

We currently have opportunities for qualified technicians to join our team as Technical Advisors based in the Freeport located in the Papua Province, Indonesia.
The opportunity is well suited for those with strong customer‑centric and technical support experience for Sandvik underground drill and bolt equipment.
You will be a key member of an established team and drive the reliability and availability of the underground mining fleet while supporting a zero‑harm safety culture.
To be successful in this position you must be trade qualified or have similar qualifications disciplined in mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems.
You will have extensive experience in a similar role in the underground mining industry with a minimum of seven years’ experience maintaining Sandvik underground drill and bolting equipment. Importantly, you will have a strong understanding of underground drilling and bolting principles and practices combined with deep working knowledge of the Sandvik product range.
In addition to your expert technical knowledge, you will have good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationships.
