Job summary

Copper Overseas Service Company (COSCO) seeks a Technical Expert, Underground Project Controls & Change Management to lead project controls standards, cost and schedule oversight, and change governance for Underground Operations and Projects.

You will mentor teams, manage risk, prepare executive dashboards, and coordinate with multiple functions to ensure governance, safety, and regulatory compliance in a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in project controls or management.
• Ten (10) years of supervisory/management experience leading controls, PM, planning, or change teams.
• Experience with large-scale capital projects (heavy industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas).
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, MS Project; familiar with InEight/SAP.
• Fluent in English (spoken/written); willing to learn Bahasa.
• Demonstrated safety and environmental awareness; strong leadership.
• Analytical thinking, customer service orientation, and ability to work in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of project controls standards and best practices.
• Maintain integrated controls systems for cost, schedule, progress, forecasting, and performance.
• Ensure consistency of controls processes across Underground projects.
• Support PMO governance, stage-gate reviews, and assurance activities.
• Lead project cost reporting, budgets, cash flow, and earned value analyses.
• Develop and maintain master schedules; monitor critical paths and milestones.
• Lead formal change management, document scope/cost/schedule changes, and risk reviews.
• Prepare executive performance reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Monitor manpower, resources, and equipment; align with operations and engineering.
• Ensure governance/compliance with policies and financial requirements.
• Mentor and develop project controls personnel; foster cross-team collaboration.
